Aaron Eddleman, director

Mr. Eddleman is in his first year at Clear Lake Intermediate. He graduated from the University of Houston in 2019. He got his start in band playing the French horn. He and his wife, Veronica, have three children: Bryce, Theo, and Riley.

Before his appointment at CLIS, Mr. Eddleman taught at South Houston High School in Pasadena, and Schneider Middle School.

Mr. Eddleman serves on the worship team at One Life Church. He enjoys camping, being outdoors with his kids, and coaching his son's baseball team.

Aly Ruiz, associate director

Ms. Ruiz grew up in Southwest Austin and attended Baylor University, graduating in 2021. She was an All-State piccolo player in high school and was drum major with Baylor's Golden Wave Marching Band for two years. Ms. Ruiz also earned a minor degree in history.

Following graduation, Ms. Ruiz taught the Concert Band at Thompkins High School in Katy, and taught elementary music at P.H. Greene Elementary. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Wes, being outdoors, reading, ballet barre, and ancestry research.

Ms. Ruiz teaches:

Beginner flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, and bassoon
